300ml of filtered water (or chicken broth, vegetable broth) for 200gr of Indian Basmati rice.
½ tsp salt.
1 tsp cooking oil.
How to cook saffron rice:
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients
Wash the rice 2-3 times until the water is clear. If using Basmati rice, it is recommended to soak the rice in cold water for about 10 minutes to make the rice grains more supple and soft. After washing, let the rice drain.

Put the saffron in a small bowl, and use the back of a teaspoon to crush the saffron strands into small pieces. Add 1 tablespoon of hot water 70 - 75 degrees Celsius, soak for 5 minutes.

Pour rice and saffron water into the rice cooker with other ingredients such as cooking oil and salt, mix well.
The amount of water to cook rice depends on the type of rice you use as well as your preference for dry/wet cooking. However, chefs claim that the finished product will taste better if the rice is cooked dry and the grains are not sticky. The proportions are as in the recipe specifically for Basmati rice.
If you want to make the rice richer, you can replace the filtered water with chicken broth or vegetable broth (carrots, oysters, radishes boiled for water).

Turn on the rice cooker and the saffron rice is ready when the rice cooker says it's done.
